Born and raised in Essex. Perry Sullivan is a self taight artist who grew up influenced by the comic art of Marvel and D.C Comics.
This began his love affair with colour and importantly the human form, a theme he returns to often in his work.
Cultural narcissism combined with our celebrity obsessed and sexually charged commercial media have proved a fertile breeding ground for this work.
Lately more classical and mythological themes have begun to appear.
Themes which he is keen to pass on to the more modern observer.
"I want to revive figure painting of the more traditional kind and bring it into the contemporary world."
"To bring art to people who may feel that art has nothing to say to them and who feel left out of this world of stories, colour and beauty."
His work has been sold worldwide and has been placed in many exhibitions both as a solo artist and as collections.
As well as a love for art he also enjoys history, film, books and watching his beloved Dagenham & Redbridge F.C.
