Hi Perry, I commented on 'Jam Tart' on Facebook. I just love your work! My favourite of your works is 'Soft Cell'. Particularly because I think the composition works so well, the features are so pained and expressive and the use of colour is so dark and brooding. The black,white and grey give a sense of hard, cold stone and concrete whilst the maroon-like red at the top portray danger, blood but passion (in the girl) as well. I am very impressed. Otherwise, as you well know I love 'Jam Tart' and I am also very keen on 'Hot Dog', again great use of colour. I really enjoy taking the first glance at the body shapes and then realising that they are so much sharper than I first expected. 'Pandemonium' I think is very interesting and I'm looking forward to analysing the symbolism further! But I won't go on too much (I just thought it might help u knowing exactly what ppl find appealing!). Overall, I think it's fantastic, five stars!! |
